We had eggs on toast. It's all very well earning money to buy nice food but a bummer not actually having the time to go to the shop to get it. :D

I just had a delish bowl of fusili pasta with a roasted red pepper sauce made to kick ass via a generous helping of tabasco. I had a lovely salad and grated cheese. Exactly same as what I had last night...:)

crap - I'm still at work.... so it'll be toast then...

i wonder if drinking one of the beers in the fridge here technically counts as a sackable offence...

hmmm...lets see, what do i have in the house? a can of beans, a box of rice, some chicken soup and some frozen shit.

i guess it will be take away again tonite. I feel like spaghetti & meatballs tonite. Wonder where I can get that?

Soss and mash. Alex selected the soss in Watrose. We've got wild boar, Glocestershire old spot, Lincolnshire and some chipolatas. Waitrose ready-made gravy

tonight will be stir fried pork with preserved vegetables, bok choi with garlic and rice.
It's my day off today so I will also be making some stuff for the freezer, depending on what's nice at the market. And probably some hummus for lunch tomorrow.
It's weird - in our currnet apartment there is only a tiny little single ring electric hob, (and we have a rice cooker) but I'm finding the challenge of cooking meals on that really enjoyable, and am a little reluctant to get a bigger cooker :hmm:

Undecided

Might be roasted sweet peps/onion/toms/garlic with pesto pasta

Might be baked spuds with cheese omelette and salad

Just checked bank account and I'm into the fucking overdraft already. Again. I thought this month I might just make it out of it :(

Another undecided!

Either...king prawn and veg in oyster sauce with rice...or black bean chilli and rice (in which case I'd have to something different for the kids  )...... :hmm:

Dunno tonight. Am meeting a friend who's down from Preston so depending on what she feels like doing. Either eat out or just beer followed by toast when I get home

i don't know but i don't think i should cook whatever it is that's going to be cooked. i'm always cooking these days. and i don't like it :(

Picoteo, I think, can't be bothered with anything more than that. Though of course I'll also be opening a nice bottle of wine for about a sixth of the price you'd pay in Britain.

I just made pasta with asparagus, courgette and a basil, garlic and lime vinaigrette to have cold with salad later on, and it's bloody delicious!
