Cut the mouldy bits out!! Sorted our kid :D

Ha ha, my mum had a home ec teacher whose persistent catchphrase was "Just cut the green bits off, gels!" :D

We're having chilli beans and brown rice tonight :) Poor Mr K is shattered from doing so much moving on his own - he needs protein and carbs to build him back up again.

tonite I'm making sesame glazed teriyaki salmon fillets with steamed asparagus spears with hollandaise sauce and a nice chopped salad. For pudding it will be a nice creme brulee with fresh black raspberries on top :)

no, just kidding....i'm getting take out again

i cut the green bits off, and was left with 2 minute cubes of bread  so i am having to rethink. orange peppers and cucumber sticks with dip is my new plan, and maybe a sausage roll :)

Sesame-crusted chicken breasts, stir-fried baby corn, snow peas, water chestnuts and spring onion, rice. Green salad.

Mmmmm, this thread makes my mouth water.

Well tonight I went to The Ivy
I had duck and watercress salad, and grilled wild halibut. It was lovely but to be honest I was expecting better.

Just got some lamb chump steaks out of the freezer, which I'll probably just stick in a bit of olive oil/lemon juice/garlic/rosemary and grill, with homemade wedges and some sort of veg.

bees is working tonight so I'm going to treat myself to a chinese I think :) whilst I marzipan a cake, make some sugar flowers and bake another cake :hmm:

That's exactly what I had when I went to the Ivy :D Same as you, I thought it was nice but could be better (can't complain though as it was a free lunch on my company )

Same deal here - I helped a friend complete a project at the start of the year so it was a thank you meal from her. I wasn't that impressed with the menu, but the food was good... no better than I've had in smaller, cheaper, unfamous restaurants though. Hark at me

Funnily enough I really fancy shephards pie tonight, I just don't know if I can be bothered making it.

i had planned and shopped for a week of summery dinners.
might sack that off though and make something warm and comforting instead.

ended up getting take away curry last nite: chicken tikka masala and saag paneer with naan and white rice. mmmm :)

still have half left for tonite or tomorrow

marinated chicken drumsticks with either potato wedges or loaded skins, roasted peppers and corn on the cob.

Can't decide between cheese omelette/baked spud/salad, smoked mackerel pate/crusty bread/toms in olive oil/salad, or roasted toms/baby sweet orange peppers/onions/garlic tossed in fusilli with a dousing of parmesan
