We always used to have chicken livers, tossed in seasoned flour and fried with a Sunday fry up as a kid.
I haven't even seen them in a supermarket for years.

Nah, that was me and I did make it! Really couldn't be arsed but we'd run out of alternatives unless we had the dog food or the tins of stagg chilli for camping. ; )

Love a good fish pie! The one I make is called upstairs downstairs fish pie cos it has mash on top and the bottom. Not sure who gave it that name... I don't think it was me

cornflakes and hot milk with sugar. Put too much milk in bowl and half of it spilt onto floor, so mopped. Grrrh. Might have a cheese sandwich later. Lots of milk.

Oh ffs, I should not shop with a hangover. I was impressed with the cheapness of the pork chops, wrapped in an opaque bag in the tramp's buffet at Waitrose. However, on closer inspection, I have discovered that the chops are in fact chipolatas and the label reads 'pork chips'

A scrabble round the cupboards after the shops were closed produced the most random of dinners:
Meatloaf with basmati rice and petite pois. With a rich beef and tomato gravy.
Home made while choc and cranberry cookies with a cuppa tea for pudding

I might not be able to start cooking til later as the oven cleaners broke my door last week and are apparently coming back to fix it. We'll see...

Got a big tub of bolognese in the freezer so might make a lasagne.

Yep! They came on the 5th appointment without my refund as promised. Part of the reason I booked them was because I can't get the bit of glass off inside the door to clean it.

They're meant to carry tools for minor repairs but he didn't have a socket set. Instead of being honest or coming back he tried to force it off and broke it.
He was very apologetic but jesus wept!

If they don't show tonight I'm going to go bonkers.
