Tonight, I'm cooking a meat meal for the first time in ages. I'm going to make a bolognaise or a chilli depending on what I fancy when I get in.

I made giant couscous (I really like the texture) mixed with choppd sundried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and peas, with corn on the cob dusted with Old Bay Seasoning. Very nice.

Got stuck on a boat with no choice for dinner - it was butternut squish and chickpea thing with onion bread. Yeah, I also thought "WTFF?!?" but it was actually quite nice. Need meat though, so already laid in a course to the cafe for breakfast, after the shipping forecast

It sort of works. Like fishermand's toast, but less fatty and layered into a pie dish then baked instead of fried as individual slices. Tasted okay, was cheap, and filling anyway.

i thought its the aubergines that make it moussaka? sounds divine anyway!

Here it'll be steak with fried onions, beans and mashed roosters (with butter and scallions). Might make an apple crumble with the apples from the garden.

Piggery pie actually came to mind! Though I didn't call it that obviously.....reckon it'd be nice?

The taco's are sounding a good move as well.....I've got everything except the taco shells. Might hit the shop later and get some then.

Dunno about the pie, but got to be worth trying at some point. I'd go for the tacos too
