I bought some cheese yesterday (I rarely buy cheese) and made a cheese sauce for my pasta bake with mushrooms & tomato. Was yummy and comforting but very stodgy ...
Tonight I have mackerel (tinned), potatoes (maybe mashed), and last of the beans from the garden. Then I have pudding (hurray) - a chocolate sponge thing you steam, then turn upside down and you get some weird, fake chocolate sauce dribbling all down it. Yum...(I hope...)
mmMM that tagine was fucking well nice - got some for lunch today too, there's tons of it!
I was playing the dulcimer last night! By the time I got home, the fella had tuned it, and was playing a beautiful tune on it - he's never touched one before! Then later on, he showed me a very simple picking tune and I could do it! Yay
Anyway, for tea tonight we will drink wiiiiiiine first, lots of it, and then I'm gonna make mushroom and green pepper in black bean sauce, and have with egg noodies and/or rice
I'm gonna have another McRib for lunch. Dinner....hmm...curry sounds good. I've got £20 to last me til Monday. It's either curry tonight, or beer over the weekend....
Maybe if I try and make a curry again. This time placing a breezeblock on top of the blender.....I've got all the spices and that. I could then get beer as well. Hmmm...
Using the leftover chicken wings (and stock made from last nights bones) to do a chicken/veg noodle soup for me and my girl.
Oreo cornets for pudding (cos it's Friday and cos I've had a shit week)
Fuck it, I'm too knackered to cook so we're going to get a small chinese...chicken and sweetcorn soup to share, beef chow mein and salt and chilli ribs
My old fave for a super quick delicious and nutritious dinnertime snack: poached eggs on wilted spinach on wholemeal toast, with a bit of cheese grated on top. Yolks were proper runny.
