What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Don't have any veg apart form cabbage. Do have chilli and garlic though. Could do that.
I suppose I could shred the cabbage and fry it with chilli and garlic :hmm:

We have both and I love both but Badgers doesn't eat fishy friends and I don't think he likes capers

Got any frozen peas? I like popping some frozen peas in a boring tomato sauce.

I had the most boring pasta dish ever last night. Just penne with a really bland Sainsburys tomato and chilli sauce and some cheese.
Thing is there is loads left and I don't want to bin it so really boring pasta again tonight :(

Fry up some onions and bake it in the oven with more cheese - it might not be so bad :)

Im making fajitas with diced pork medallions (boiled for the dentured), peppers, mushrooms, salsa, sour cream and extra mature cheddar.

Thanks for the advice guys.
I am going to fry up some onion, garlic and cabage in a little chilli oil, mix it with the left over boring pasta and make a pasta bake with a fuck tonne of cheese on top.
You can't go wrong with garlic and a fuck tonne of cheese as has been duly noted on here before :)

I also found some baby plumb tomatoes in the fridge so pushed them in under the cheese in the bake :)

Mozzarella and tomato sandwich, two raspberry tarts, onken mango and papaya yoghurt, an orange and lots of milk.Think i need to have a lie down.

Very similar yes, altho I believe over here it's usually served cold as a dessert?
for me rice pudding is a hot thing, usually served with nutmeg on top added during cooking and/or with a blob of jam in the middle when you serve it.

this whole mullerice thing is nonsense, hot all the way

I usually just come on this thread to perve at your dinnerz.

Tea was fishfingers and beans. Although had a reasonably (by my standards) good home made vege vedge curry for lunch.

How do you make dishes using canned chopped tomatoes taste less sweet. Adding salt works to an extent but I think I eat too much salt?

I don't, and I don't.

Yes you do - you post loads of fucking moans about it, all the time, you big fat fucking liar :D

Anyway, I added beans to the tea last night and very nice it was too.

Tonight...hmmm. Well, the daughter's out. I think we still have two mozzarella burgers, so possibly cheeseburgers and chips. Or maybe spaghetti with garlic, chilli, olive oil and parmesan. Will see how we feel.

Then for afters, I can't stop buying these Thorntons triple choccy cakes and toffee layer cakes...the Co op is doing packets for a quid each and they are fucking AMAZING

Sort of north African mince and veggie stew for tea. Mince and onion cooked with Ras el Hanout and chillies then a load of yellow plum tomatoes added before leaving it to cook slowly for a good while. Or until the brown rice is ready. Coriander mixed in just before serving. I'm sure it's the least authentic thing ever.

Well check this shit out.

I made a shitload of marinade last night (tikka), I knew a pint of yoghurt was too much but thats what the recipe stated so...once I take the chicken out of it, it's useless I assume?

BUT for the good part, I'm making my own Chicken Tikka Masala AND a Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and I'm gonna go down the curry house down the road and buy two naans to have with it :)

It's gonna be awesome. Proper stunk of lemons and garlic last night for this so it better be worth it.

you should have made it from scratch in a pyrex dish in the oven  cold rice pudding ffs

I actually don't like fresh made rice pudding.
I think it's the psychological issue of getting the skin in my mouth as a kid and puking.
