What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I have salmon fillets that are eat by today. They've been unopened in my fridge for a week but the other night I left the door of the fridge open. They smell ok, a little bit like smoked salmon though. Will I die, or kill my unborn child?

I have that quiche in my fridge :D but fella isn't home til very late tonight..... so, not sure what I'll have :hmm:

It'll keep after it's cooked?
Unless you can't be arsed with cooking it now which in this heat and a baybee is understandable x

We just had a small bowl of Chinese chips and curry sauce

Badgers is now making something to do with tuna and pasta :hmm:

Spaghetti with sauce from a jar, because I was too lazy to make it myself

Now that the kids are in bed, I'm following it up with some chocolate orange.

Half price offer? :D
I've got another one in the freezer (and will buy more before the offer ends...I LIKE these ones and more importantly, so do BOTH of the kids  :D )...

ANYWAY...Bee...cook it (well, heat it) now, defo...and EAT SOME!
The Mr can have it warm/cool later (is how I'm having mine, tbf....I like warm/cool/cold quiche...just not when it's straight from the fridge and a bit floppy, iykwim  )...but it'll still be nice for him later for sure  and YOU, lady, need to get some dinner down ya when and where you can (worst ways, you can both it eat it later)!

HEAT THE QUICHE, MUMMEH!

Awwww (((Bee and BabyBee)))...it is defo WAY TOO HOT for tiny grizzly babies and for the people looking after them atm! :(
Can you whizz yourself up a banana/fruit smoothie or summink? :hmm:

If you're unsure, I wouldn't risk it. Fish can give you very, very bad food poisoning. Been there, and it isn't an experience I wish to repeat. :(

While something like chicken you can leave it in the oven a bit longer to play safe, you can't really do that with fish given how horrible it is when overcooked.

I'm already looking forward to the fish and chips I'm having tonight. Cod, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea to be eaten in the garden with two days of relaxing in the sunshine to look forward to. :)

We're going down the beach when my husband finishes work so we'll probably just stop at the chippy on the way home.

I fancy a cheesy chip butty.

We've got a bag of dried porcini, so taking inspiration from something moose posted ages ago, I'm gonna chop em up and fry with spring onions, then mix in some cream and parsley, and mix with penne.

Splashing out on a box of cheap chardonnay too. Well, it has been my first week back at work, and I DO deserve it!

Homemade kofte girlled on the BBQ last night. Made a spicy tomato sauce to go with them as well as some rice and some grilled spicy peppers.

Tonight, I'm going to do some chicken thighs with garlic and herbs. Loads of green salad and a bit o' bread :)

  she's too skinny;)

I had nothing last night in the end  definitely quiche tonight.

Quiche. BLERGH. Egg flan. With other crap in it like broccoli I expect. Cold as well. That's not a meal, that's a token addition to a buffet in a sympathetic nod to the 80's. Well the 80's can take their shit discos with their massive quiffs and school trousers, their buffets covered in fag ash and silly string, their slow dances at the end, and most of all, their flimsy metal trays covered in quiche, and they can fuck themselves with the lot of it.
