I'm gonna stuff myself at the Peckham Kerb festival.
So knackered though. I may just go to bed so I'm fresh for the Lambeth Country Show tomorrow

Just me tonight....I'm gonna have a bbq chicken/cucumber/mayo sarnie, a family bag of chilli heatwave doritos and a cream doughnut :cool:
Beer AND wine first though...what a fucking week (only got three more days though...then OFF for the school holidays...WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :cool: :D Puts the fucking shitty job into persepctive, tbf! ;) )! :eek:

Chocolate cake

All my son's favourite foods :) The small people will be drinking Schloer, Mr K and I will be drinking cheap cava. Celebrating the end of nursery and, in a few short weeks, the start of big school :eek:
 
Quiche. BLERGH. Egg flan. With other crap in it like broccoli I expect. Cold as well. That's not a meal, that's a token addition to a buffet in a sympathetic nod to the 80's. Well the 80's can take their shit discos with their massive quiffs and school trousers, their buffets covered in fag ash and silly string, their slow dances at the end, and most of all, their flimsy metal trays covered in quiche, and they can fuck themselves with the lot of it.

having a salad of homegrown leaves of some sort, chicken, avacado and tomato, with a lemon juice, olive oil & garlic dressing. cider to wash it down, sourdough on the side.
 
It's Friday so it's posh scran night:

10oz Venison steak,
Parmesan and mustard seed roast new potatoes,
Garlic mushrooms
Broccoli

Pomegranate and raspberries with clotted cream and honey for pudding, maybe throw a meringue on top too.
 
Supermarket sundried tomato pasta - spruced up with masses of pine nuts and capers.
Washed down with St Emilion.

A shame the heat is slowing down my wine consumption because I have several new wines to try - including a half price Bordeaux - but the review says it's only worth that much .. and the plastic corks apparently mean it may not keep...
 
BBQ tonight. I've just taken some diced pork, creole sausages and venison grillsteaks out the freezer.
I think I'll bung the pork in a piri-piri marinade when it's defrosted a bit.
 
Probably a curry incolving sweet potato, quinona and whatever veg there is on the way to going manky in the fridge.

Can you curry broccoli, don't see why not?

Veg mix for me - slowly fried leeks, garlic, peppers, chilli, and mixed in with cous cous when done.

I finally got this ready around 11pm, and now feel like I've eaten a brick. Carb crash...:(
 
Chilli chicken and new potatoes in garlic butter with roasted onions, aubergines, peppers, cherry tomatoes. Bunged a bit of curry powder in with the roasted veg as a bit of an experiment. Not sure if this was a good idea tbh. :hmm:
