What's for tea tonight? (#8)

A right weird mix. Roasted mexican veg/roasted spud slices. Veggie arancini type things. Broccoli.

I've never heard of arancini - they look well nice :cool:

Well, I think the bottle of red we had last night after the bottle of chardonnay must have been tannintastic, cos we both felt quite unwell this morning :D No booze tonight. Junk food tea of mozz cheeseburgers, chups, and salad, and then the walnut layer cake we didn't eat last night, on account of being fucking slaughtered, like.
 
Oh yeah, the parmesan knocks it up a notch :cool: Loads of salt and pepper doesn't go amiss either (although you could apply that to almost anything as far as I'm concerned).

Actually - it was YOU that first put me onto it! I didn't make it for aaaages, and then one extremely skint day remembered it, and was all 'ohmyLORD this is good!' :D
 
It's dead nice with crumbled feta, too

Ah. I've kind of gone off feta. I had a bit of an explosive reaction to some feta-stuffed peppers a couple of years ago - the packet was a wee bit blown, but I thought it would be alright. It wasn't. It REALLY wasn't. :(
 
My steak last night was the business. Tenderized, seasoned, cooked and rested to perfection. Somehow lost all my steak knives so had to use butter knives and they worked fine, that's how good it was.

Tonight. Erm, dunno. Sausage chips and beans is sounding appealing :)
