What's for tea tonight? (#8)

that sounds bloody lush. can i have some? *looks hopeful* :)

This is well easy to make and the garlic bread is ace

http://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/chilli-bean-soup-with-cheesy-garlic-bread.html

Tortilla wraps of strips of chicken breast coated in a southern fried spice mix, pan fried and served on a bed of lettuce, topped with sweet chilli sauce & a yoghurt & mint rattia.

Now I'm having this for tea tonight ^^

Though the wife doesn't like tortilla, so pitta instead. Or a cheeky naan. And I'll do my own cajun spice mix. Rest the same. But with onions and tomatoes as well.

chocolate ice cream with home made chocolate poo biscuits crumbled into it

Then after dinner....I'm going to watch a sad film and eat this while crying into the bowl wearing my pedobear onesie

I had 'fried skin' with bay leaves and chillies; Beef with celery and chillies; celery and cashew nuts; bitter lettuce with beef, and rice.

Leftover rare steak, salad (lettuce, tomato, avocado, chilli oil & red wine vinegar dressing) with olive ciabatta.

twentythreedom what did you have from the Greek? Meze for 2 people/nights?

Quarter pounder with cheese in the end :hmm:

But I reckon the meze is the way forward. I shall duly report back when I go there, tonight or tomorrow :)

Whos skin? Did you shave it first? I hate fried skin that hasn't first had a jolly good shave. A flash over the fire singes most hair off but it's no match for a gillette 5 blade under a running tap.

I don't even know which animal it is tbf. :hmm: It's 100% hair-free though.

Some of me turkey chili con carne in taco shells wiv iceburg lettuce n crumbly lancashire cheese. Just hope me taste buds calm down coz av been chewin on those huge jelly snakes ya get from newsagents for me dinner.

ok i'm looking to be inspired here for this evening. lamb kebab sounds good. how was your chicken one last night Yetman? :)

It was HOT mate. Garlic and coriander pittas filled with marinated chicken (which was already fricking spicy as hell) then salad and a load more ChamCham hot pepper sauce and some spritz.

Had to lash on the yoghurt and mint ratia just to stop it igniting in my hand but was really nice, and healthy. Probably. :)

Coming to the end of food... Pay day next week so mayhaps a leek and courgette risotto or a sweet potato and lentil curry with brown rice.

Neither of those things. Discovered some tofu at the back of the fridge so had stir fried veg with tofu. I marinaded the tofu in braggs, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chilli and spring onion before frying and then added the left over juices to the veggies. Nom.

So tonight will be one of last night's options.
