What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Dinner tonight: started with onions, garlic and some chorizo chunks fried in olive oil. A whole load of spices. Then added lentils, a tin of chickpeas, grated courgette and red peppers and stock. Served with courgettes sliced lengthways and grilled, and grilled red peppers. And a dollop of greek yoghurt.

Veggie roast with meatfree sossidge mix made into patties. Trimmings included cabbage, green beans, broccoli, roast potatoes and sweet potato and yorkie puds

Spiced roast lamb leg, puy lentil and tomato salad, mini samosas, veg pakora and onion bhaji.
Then TWO puddings: blueberry swirl cheesecake and strawberry, orange and poppy seed cake.

I bought some sea cakes from Brixton wholefoods yesterday. Going to have them for tea tomorrow prob with jacket spud and salad :)

it'll be grazing on black and white pudding, roast potaters (with oil from yesterdays chicken), and 'spicy' beans (from a tin). Blackforest gateaux for 'pudding' as ye Brits say

Anything that's not chickpea or lentil based. Very cheap and nutritious but I am very, very, very tired of eating lentils.

I'm about to have a fried cheese and onion sandwich for a snack. Dinner, I don't know, possibly smoked salmon salad.

i really don't know. i find myself rather suddenly without a boyfriend (ie single) and he used to do all the cooking. but i think i'll make myself something nice. something i wouldn't normally make. something fresh. because ima worth it yaddayadda

Sea cakes were ok, not a very strong flavour. I'd made a stirfry rather than a salad to go with it so just had bites of sea cake and stir fry together. That made it better. If I have them again gonna try wrapping them in nori to make them more sea flavoured.
