What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Tonight is the burritos I listed yesterday as I didn't get around to cooking them
I just hope the mince is alright.
"Will I die" and all that as standard :D

They were good. Rolled then cooked in foil wraps in the oven. Not sure if I preferred that method to just topping with salsa/cheese and eating with knife and fork.

last night was a curry from a proper Yorkshire takeout. We had chicken rogan josh, jalfrezi, butter chicken (really good) cauliflower curry, pilau rice, garlic naan, salad (not ordered by me) with yoghurt and cucumber (bit too big like, it came free), and onion bhajis. When i bit into the 'green bean' of the rogan josh, it was an extra hot chilli:eek:. Took a while for my mouth to calm down after. Dessert was profiteroles with custard in the middle.

tonight im making bacon & cabbage with parsley sauce.

that dont give us enuff info but hope you enjoyed it. Posh burgers aint always good of course, as oft debated on the much loved Burger Thread.
What makes a burger posh? I'm having ''posh'' burgers for tea tonight made by my own fair hands, probably with enough jalapenos and pickled cucumber to kill an elephant.

I've been experimenting with free food (as there's a fair bit about at the moment) so something along the lines of falafels with a salad of wild garlic, dandelion leaves and goose grass. Hopefully it'll won't taste too nasty with a decent french dressing.

More Tesco soup that I bought shitloads of as they were cheap. Butterbean and Chorizo tonight. A couple of cheap rolls with it as I polished off all the nice sourdough bread last night.

Stacked really high with a big toothpick in it, so you cannot pick it up , homemade burger relish instead of regular ketchup, a massive gherkin on the side, a few thickly cut chips, a hefty price.

I've never had a posh burger then :D. The gherkin is fine, but on the side? On the burger is the ONLY place for such a thing.

Tinkering with the idea of quorn chicken fajitas. Fella's gotta go out to rehearse for his telly thing tomorrow* and I've gotta do a bit more practice for this weekend's gig at Camp Frack. I might have some wine too :hmm:

* telly thing! Tis all exciiiting! His band are gonna be on BBC1 North West Tonight on Friday (tomorrow) at 6.30, doing a live acoustic version of their Wigan FA cup final song, Roberto's Revolution (a cover of their song Up The Revolution) :D:D

yes, it's a traditional Irish meal.

It's one of my favorite meals ever.
I am really good at it too. My parsley sauce rocks :D

Last time I did a boiled bacon, I thought it would last for days as it was huge, but between me, Badgers and Idumea it was gone :D We couldn't stop going back and picking at it.
And I did a lunch box of it for everyone the next day :)

I only had lunch an hour ago and this thread is making my mouth water!

I need to go and hang around somewhere else man. Urban is making me fat. It used to make me take drugs now it's making me eat loads. I can never win.
