Last night flatmates made thai beef curry. They overcooked so shared with us

Tonight will prob be a spicy and smokey pinto bean and veg stew

I made a MASSIVE pot of butternut/spinach/cauli coconut curry last night with a tub of the Balinese spice paste I had in the freezer (originally from THIS Rick Stein braised seafood recipe which is fucking lovely!)....froze loads and still have plenty for me tonight and myself and my son on Friday
I've added some chopped tomatoes to tonight's batch and I'm going to stick some king prawns in it, too....been craving it for days and days (just not been arsed to MAKE it till last night ).....woohoo!

AND I have a scone with clotted cream and jam for pudding.

As long as you go not expecting gourmet stuff then they are fine. Perfectly edible. Good for taking kids too.
But to be honest, if not with kids, I think I would be happier in a cheap food pub. Like a Spoons or an Greenking pub or something.
