What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Something which I hope will turn out to be more or less edible - bits chucked in the remoska and left there.

Cacio E Pepe - Spaghetti with pecorino and black pepper.

With a salad and some toast made with sour dough loaf I baked yesterday.

It was bloody gorgeous, restaurant quality even if I do say so myself:)

We ended up having tomato spaghetti. My back is fucked up and tomato spaghetti had the best standing up: satisfaction ratio of anything that was an option tonight.

Sunday was picnic in the park day, then a burger later on when we got home. Yesterday my folks took us to their local Harvester :D

I had a steak and ribs in Jack Daniels sauce with chips, onion rings and coleslaw. It was alright bu at the end of it I felt like I'd eaten three days worth of food. At that point I noticed that everybody in there was massively overweight, and the the bloke at the next table started complaining to the manager that the portions were too small :)

I've requested a traditional pub lunch next time.

Tonight is baked spuds and I will not be rising to the bait.

I made some stonking veggie Moroccan meatballs last night - rest is now frozen.

Fella's out at a meeting tonight, so a quick tea of spaghetti tossed in garlic/chilli in olive oil, with parmesan over the top, and left over cherry tomato salad  Then home-made brownies

Melon, parma Ham, rocket an mozzarella salad also got sum Veuve Olivier Sparkling Brut from aldi fer 3.99 ta go wiv it

12 oz Dexter fillet steak (air hung for 4 weeks)
New tatties from my parents' allotment and pulled out this afternoon
Asparagus from the nation of Islam

Chinese it is. Prawns with green pepper in black bean sauce, special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, pancake roll, chilli salt chips. Meant to last two nights. Probably won't.

Jesus am such a bean.
When you bought the asparagus from the Nation of Islam did you congratulate yourself on being so culturally diverse then have a tricky internal dialogue about Louis Farrakhan's separatism but ultimately bought the asparagus anyway because well, you've worked hard for your money, why shouldn't you occasionally eat racist vegetables?

Had last nights curry in the garden earlier. Can't beat a stupidly hot curry in the blazing sun

Tonight. Probably the remainder of the curry.

Not only that, I tweeted George Monibot for tips on how to serve it in a way which wouldn't offend the local Hindu community.

It was amazing. I wish I had done more potatoes but I only have a pound and want to make them last
