What's for tea tonight? (#8)

lamb hearts, with a apricot and wild garlic stuffing, new spuds and a carrot and parsnip mash. Topped with a sauce made from juices and port

Sea bream fillet. Not really sure what to do with it. Probably just fry it and have it with baked little potatoes and some green beans.

We haz some of the veggie pie mix from earlier in the week in the freezer still... So maybe that with rice or something... not feeling very inspired today...

I haven't really stopped eating all day and the more i eat the hungrier i get, so probably the sardine and veggie stir fry and couscous meal I'd originally planned, although i really should probably just have an apple or something :(
Bloody work biscuits and left over meeting sandwiches and crisps and more biscuits  And this was after my own lunch!

Blackeye pea & vegetable soup with whatever I could find added. Finished with tomato & black olive melba toasts.

We had paneer , red pepper & chilli with a jar of that jalfrezi sauce, tramps buffet aloo gobi & garlic naan & rice & peas. Not bad for stuff that had to be used with some cheap extras.

The canteen was an embarrassment of riches last night, it was quite upsetting to only be able to chose three things. I had egg and tomato, slivers of beef with celery, chillies and yardlong beans, and the amazing strips of aubergine in the rich garlicky gravy which are just AMAZING.

Tonight we're having a tequila night, so I'm making Mexicanish food. I'm thinking some kind of rice dish with veggies and spices, chicken in some kind of mole, salad, bean dip, veggies for dipping and hopefully some nachos if I can find them.

Its our anniversary, but we we're going away tomorrow we'll eat out next week, so tonight is the usual Friday night staple of wine and curry delivery.

I don't knoooooooooow! :(

Just me till Sunday and if I'd thought I would've taken the (half price ;) ) mini duck roast out of the freezer (the kids refuse to eat duck on the grounds that DUCKS ARE CUTE  ) and had that over the whole weekend (roast today and leftovers in a veg/noodle soup tomorrow  ) but I'm almost positive it won't defrost by this evening and I'm not sure I could eat it all in one sitting :D

Ah fuck it, I'm just going to take it out anyway...will just have to have something from the freezer tonight otherwise and try and be as GREEDY AS POSSIBLE tomorrow... :hmm:

Can you sit it in a sink full of cold water - that will speed things up with the defrost :)

Tonight is the chicken noodle veg stir fry from last night as the bloke didn't get in till late and neither of us could be arsed with a proper dinner by that point. He had a couple of pitta breads with humous and I had a mini magnum
