What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Ended up with tuna mayo. cheese and spring onion toasted sarnies.
Macaroni cheese in the fridge for tomorrow.

We are dipping into reheated macaroni cheese :oops:
 
Mr Yu is bringing canteen food home with him. We have about one portion of buckwheat noodles and a whole load of konjac ones, so maybe a blend of the two with whatever canteen treats he returns with.
 
Tonight in going to make a big stew with potato, adzuki bean and sweet peppers. Its going to be quite spicy and smokey.. Lots of garlic, ginger, chill, chipotle, cumin and smoked paprika. It will have a tomato base and im going to make it up as I go along.
 
Visitors staying all weekend so mostly ate garlicky sausages and chocolate for a couple of days, washed down with buckets of beer and wine.

Yesterday I did a massive beef and pearl barley stew for the outlaws.

Tonight probably pasta with a sort of mushroom and asparagus cream sauce.
 
Slicing the remains of yesterday's sausages into rice/beans/spinach. Maybe with some chili flakes and garlic. No broccoli :mad:
 
Mr Yu brought back Dong Bei style sweet and sour chicken, egg and tomato, some random veg with sliced chicken and something unidentifiable as it'd got all mixed up with everything else. It was lovely as usual.
 
Done a veggie chilli con carne yesterday an am gonna stuff it in them taco shells that cost an arm an a leg ta buy. Got sum iceberg and cheddar cheese ta sprinkle on top of em anawl. Bleedin chilli cost me less ta make than all the rest of the stuff. shoulda stuck ta me usual brown rice n pittas wiv it.
 
...and I got a huge sack of red onions for £1.50 so I'm making some red onion marmalade, cos I love it. The sent of caramelising onions is drifting through the house
 
Tagliatelle with green beans and mushrooms in a blended butter bean and creme freche sauce, with a spinach, walnut, avocado and blue cheese salad. Nom.
