I got a forerib joint reduced in waitrose so that with red wine gravy, green beans, broccoli, roasted carrots and potatoes as above.

Can't bloody wait, I'm so excited.

Pulled pork would have taken too long, so I am now doing slow roast rolled shoulder of lamb with merguez spices, roast potatoes an braised leeks and carrots.

I haven't had it since I was a kid but it is a sweetened desert topping. Probably made with vegetable oil or something horrid but I remember loving milkshakes made with it as a child.
