What's for tea tonight? (#8)

We've drunk so much I don't care. There's some lasagne in the oven, so we may have that or leave it till tomorrow :D

Tuna and mayo sandwich. Serviceable. Got some mix left in the bowl that I can nip into the kitchen for every few moments for another little morsel.

Fish soup with a Chinese slant. Went down well as ever.

Garlic, onion and ginger slowly fried in plenty of olive oil.

Add sliced carrots, whole peppercorns, salt, oregano, a small amount of lemon zest and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add a couple of cups of water. Diced potatoes, red pepper. Bring to the boil, then add chunks of fish (haddock in this case) and simmer for 20 minutes whilst adding fresh coriander little by little.

Serve with fresh, hot bread.

Fucking delicious. Enough for 6 from €7.

Veggies roasted with thyme, rosemary, garlic, olive oil and sesame seeds. Chicken with onions, spinach, chilli and coriander leaf. Cucumber in a lemon juice and garlic dressing. Brown rice.

If I Can get a lift I am going to get some curry. May get a few different portions and freeze it :hmm:

LAst time I did that it came to nearly £60

I have no idea.
Mum was supposed to be coming in the week with food but couldn't coz she was OFSTEDed in the face :(
Now she is supposed to be coming this afternoon bet her and my dad are trapped in Ikea at Thurrock and I fear for their safety and essentially, my tummy :D

I'm torn between cooking something and taking a chance on fish and chips.
Last time I had F&C on a Saturday night I found it was the hired help doing the cooking and it was pretty lack-lustre to say the least.

Italian sausage, spinach & chilli pizza. Prob my best pizza yet - really managed to get rid of moisture and end up with a crispy base.

I did a double take there; you actually mean hash, not hash, don't you? :D
As in smokeable, yeh :D

Made an enormous veggie lasagne for me mum and dad's birthday pressy today, and there was enough gubbins left over to make a small one, so as I'm home alone tonight, I'm going to eat the fucking lot  It's got celery, onion, garlic, courgette, leeks, and kale for the filling, tom and basil sauce, bechamel which came out great, and ricotta and mozzarella cheese, with a nice smothering of parmesan on top mmMMMM

AND - I also made them a key lime pie, so have half of that here too rarr
