What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Ale battered fish with chips, peas and tartare sauce.
Double g&t for pudding.
Maybe some lemon ice cream for second pudding :D

My fave Indian restaurant came up on Living Social a while ago and tonight I'm cashing in. We have 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 rice, 1 naan and 2 glasses of wine. I will share that with BF & his son..

I had panfried fillet of sea bass with stuff. It was really nice. I never buy fillets because I think it's profligate, but I think I will do so again.

Butternut squash and lentil curry.
We have a broccoli and some pak chio that needs using up so that will go in too.

This better last for a while as we have no more money

I have a butternut squash too but i think it'll be for dinner tomorrow or the day after....

Tonight: Sausages and mash and carrot batons - this marks the 3rd meal based on pork for Mr Foamys fathers day treat :D

There's this line of farm stew type things Ocado do, called "Look What We Found" and they are lush, 2 mins in microwave, tasty as a very tasty thing on National Tasty Day. Tonight I has Tees Valley Beef in Black Velvet Ale, with some spuds and veggies on the side. They really are very good for quick dinners, top quality nosh.

I love this thread. Why do we care what other people are having for dinner? Dunno, but we do, don't we?

The fella's out at a meeting tonight so me and our lass will be scoffing baked spuds with tuna and mayo for our tea, and then reduced-price vanilla and raspberry rolls - 5 for 29p at the Co op :D

After much debate this morning we decided on spag bol which is what we have pretty much every Monday. : o

I then fell asleep and forgot to get mince out of the freezer so we're having chips (butties for me in crusty rolls).

Free chips because last time we went to the chippy the chips were rock hard.

I'm poorly sick and need fuel for recovery so I've requested something chocolatey too.
