What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Yes, yes...jam! :D

D'you know....I dithered about that cos I thought it didn't sound quite right....but it's just that the jam is already here :hmm:  :D so I left it be :p

But since we're talking about it now :D they're all jams my mum has made! The damson is my fave

So do I but I don't actually ever think of eating it unless we're having scones  :hmm: ....which is fine by me, tbf, cos the more cream teas the better, afaic! :D

I had some on welsh cakes the other day (which are just squished scones aren't they? :D). I like savoury toast (Marmite or PB) so I'm with you on the jam working best with a cream tea... clotted cream.

i made a scotch egg tonight. there were bits of black pudding in the sausagemeat. fucking lovely it was, and not as difficult to construct as i'd thought it might be...

Fried potato, fried tomatoes and fried eggs, hint of soy sauce .. probably should have used a bit of balsamic ... washed down with "Cotes Catalanes" .. bargain at £5 to £8 a bottle ...

Was going to be roast pork which I got in the M&S dine for 2 jobby at the weekend but we only got home just gone 8 so it would mean eating about 10

So, we're having some sort of pasta, cream and asparagus creation instead and roasting the pork tonight to have cold with saute potatoes tomorrow :)

Couscous cooked in really nice chicken stock done with spinach and broccoli, with a grilled turkey breast on the side slathered in guacamole. Really really quick but so so good.

My body was going PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN today so I brought an unreasonably large bag of salmon fillets. I think dinner is going to be salmon for quite a while.

I've got a shitload of beansprouts and mushrooms to use, so a stir fry with that, some chicken and some broc....with rice.

Kids have got Aero caramel mousses for pudding.

I got given a Schweinebraten by (Marinated pork steak) my gf. It's FUCKING MASSIVE. Thinly cut but bigger than your average plate. Looks like it's got some kind of spicy marinade on it. Going to grill it tonight and eat it like a savage.

I recently discoverd mini veggie sausages in cumberland, lincolinshire and hotdog style- I think Im gonna have them in a garlic tomato, chilli sauce with linguine and spinach

Please put the recipe and method up:) Im on slimming world but would happily use all my 'Syns' up for this.....

i just boiled the egg for 6 minutes (although i think 7 might have been better), left it to go cold and carefully shelled it.

then i unskinned a sausage, flattened it out and wrapped it round the egg, coated it in breadcrumbs and deep fried it until it was golden.

much easier than i thought it was going to be tbh.

Did you egg wash then breadcrumb or did the breadcrumbs just stick to the sausagemeat?
