What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Dunno, forgot to take anything out the freezer and forget what veg is in the fridge. Had too much rum to remember to eat the Indian/Chinese leftovers with baked spuds last night so thats a possibility. Brain no worky need tea.

Soy braised beef with mushrooms, which I made yesterday and unfortunately it burnt a little so I fear it may taste a bit...well burnt! With spinach and tomatoes. And melon.

Made the soup, motherfuckers!

Onion, GARLIC :p ;) leek, carrot, courgette, broccoli stalks and peeled asparagus ends (not the good ends)...sooooooooooo everything, basically.

last nights dinner was an unmittigated disaster: the chicken smelt dodgy so we ended up with vegetable thai green curry but I used a different brand of curry paste and it was hotter than the centre of the earth but not very flavoursome :(
The whole experience was made even worse by the fact we had to sit and eat this horrid meal looking wistfully at a picture of the delicious suet pudding I made the other night

Tonight I'll make a mushroom risotto to have with sausages and green beans.

Why did you have a picture of a suet pudding on your dinner table, foamy? I'm not understanding this story at all. Do you do that sort of thing a lot?

the recipe magazine was left on the table but tbh the pudding i made was so good that i took a picture of it which i migh frame and put above the dinner table so all other meals may be compared to it :D

If gsv will agree to it, will try an interesting sounding recipe for a curry of potatoes, courgettes and cashew nuts.

Just a vegetable curry. I've done a huge load of it, so a couple of portions can go in the freezer, and my housemate can take some to work for lunch tomorrow. And just now I've found there are no freezer tubs. Presumably they're all in her office, waiting for her to remember to bring them back.

I can't decide and I'm skint. Need to go the stupidmarket I think really as the Mr is coming and he wouldn't appreciate my only having 12 hours old vegetarian curry as he's coming straight from work. He doesn't like curry at all. What he does like is chocolate puddings and fry ups. I have almost a fry up.....almost....

Chicken chow mein, then I made some onion bahji's

Marshmallows and chocolate peanuts.

I was going to make a nutella and marshmallow toastie to use as a vehicle for squirty cream but then I got stoned.
