What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chinese. Don't really like chinese food, but this new one promises all sorts of veggie wonders, so we'll see.

It ended up being cheese, antipasti and baguette last night cos I accidentallied rather a lot of wine and needed food in a hurry

Tonight, will be jerk chicken, coleslaw and plantain. I've just taken delivery of some jerk sauce from Brixton's hot things entrepreneur

OMG, Quoggy that sounds fucking delicious!

I'm taking the kids swimming so will get em chips after (cos you have to have chips after swimming when you're a kid  )....but I do have some asparagus I need to use too so might just do some of that when we get back...maybe with a poached egg each or something.

Still no meat. :(

(But maybe I'll buy some chicken pieces to roast tomorrow :hmm:  )

Something with mince (as I've defrosted it)

Enchiladas
Cottage pie
Spag Bol
Lasagne

All require getting dressed and going to the shop for something. fml

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, veg, gravy.
Home made strawberry ice cream for pud. I might smash up some meringues and fold them into the ice cream at the end to make a kind of frozen eton mess - I shall put it to the vote

We have settled on enchiladas and although I have had to leave the house I still have my pj's on as mr has gone in to sainsburys.

what we call 'recovery pizza' from the cheap but very tasty takeaway place (called Sizzlers)...though it is only me recovering. Also had super duper painkillers, a berocca and a ginger beer.

I ended up having a few chips and a bite of battered sausage (eurgh)...having beer now...but I bought some chicken quarters for tomorrow wooohooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Change of plan. It was jerk sausages, chips and coleslaw. With Green & Black's butterscotch chocolate for pud

Had that fact that I need to cook dinner somewhat sprung upon me, so making stir-fry. Just found that we have fuck-all rice so it's going to be the world's tiniest tea.

Feeling incredibly lethargic last couple of days, and today, so it's looking like either quiche and bits, or nice bread with pate and bits. Cannot be fucking ARSED.

ROAST CHICKEN QUARTERS *excited* ( <---seriously...wtf?! :hmm: ), roast potatoes, asparagus and gravy.

It feels like it's been *forever* since I had a big bit of meat slapped on a plate *cough*

We've got some roast chicken and some chorizo to use up so it will be turned into a pasta bake with some added veg, probably red pepper and sweetcorn.

Cod & parsley fish cakes, new potatoes in chives and butter and some green veg of some sort or some steamed red cabbage.

I've no idea. But I was made an authentic Turkish breakfast on Saturday morning so I may try and repeat that as it was so delicious.

Scrambled egg with onion, tomato, peppers, chilli and lemon juice, Turkish sausage (beef) and then honey and cream smeared on Turkish bread.

Well, the lamb and stuff last night was bloody gorgeous!! I can highly recommend the Pancetta nd Ricotta sruyffing balls, they were absolutely lovely. I missed out the thyme though as I forget to buy some!

Tonight is a more frugal sweet potato and lentil soup with low-fat naan and yoghurt. Oh and one of these which I think are new (and under 100kc!)

Roast potatoes, green beans, carrots, broccoli, gravy and a Linda McCartney Country pie. BF is cooking and the pressure is on as his roasties are always a bit underdone.
