What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I wanted to make a cottage pie (solidarity with Skinny Ethel and condolences on the recent loss of a shepherd's pie - I've not been able to stop thinking about it since but I don't have any lamb in so cottage pie instead) but I was so tired today I ended up having a bit of nap this evening and haven't cooked.

I might have a corned beef and lettuce sarnie instead and do cottage pie tomorrow.

Not sure about tonight yet but it was shopping day so probably something lazy like frozen pizza or thing in bread.
Last night I had a large Cornish pasty, then 2 1/4lb burgers in bread as apparently we don't buy rolls with sharp cheddar, ketchup, english mustard and seasonings. Plus a Skyr and a mini milk for dessert (I love these now I'm 40?).

Does anyone on here think its worth trying mutti tomatoes or passata when making a bolognese? Are they worth the extra money over cheapy stuff. Tàaaaa

I like mutti for tomato sauces but maybe wasted in a bolognaise. Mix of cheap passata and tomato puree would do.

Still using up the allotment tomatoes so have made 2 curries for dinner (both resting). Chana masala (spicy) and an aubergine and pea curry. Using these cute mini stripy aubergines we grew this year. Probably have with chapatti. And raita with the homemade vegan yogurt that I’m quite pleased with.
Tomorrow will have this lunchtimes leftover chippy chips in a wrap with the chana masala and raita.
