Making a smallish Ital stew but gonna finish the leftover daal and chickpea soup thingy from y/day with last of the roast chicken breast slices with avacadoe and hummus.
Cheese toastie in protest against the freezer clear out tedium. We do also have a whole duck plus pancakes and assorted jazz to defrost and get through so guess it's not all bad.
Ridiculously large meatloaf full of sauce and seasoning (4 large portions leftover after 3 adults stuffed themselves) then baked beans with some extra seasonings Worcester sauce and/or pickled crinkle cut sweet baby beetroot. Had both, froze the rest.
I had a big sarnie consisting of extra mature cheddar, Branston pickle, and romaine lettuce in a bit of buttered baguette.
Followed by a strawberry Greek yoghurt with extra strawberry compote
Just me for tea tonight and none of the meals on my list are good for one/I can't be arsed cooking, so gonna have 2 poached eggs on cheese on toast, followed by too many cacao truffles and a brew.
Sliced up 2 meatballs with sauce and mushrooms on a bun. Had a portion of pasta with meatballs earlier so thats enough till my 72piece chicken bucket arrives by unicyle for supper.
I wanted to make a cottage pie (solidarity with Skinny Ethel and condolences on the recent loss of a shepherd's pie - I've not been able to stop thinking about it since but I don't have any lamb in so cottage pie instead) but I was so tired today I ended up having a bit of nap this evening and haven't cooked.
I might have a corned beef and lettuce sarnie instead and do cottage pie tomorrow.
