It's pretty much the only way I enjoy aubergine, pretty much because the sauce is so rich the aubergine is kind of incidental

She’s cooking for her Mam and Aunt who’s visiting from the states for a month, it might be the last time they see one another as sisters as both are in their 80s and not in the best of health.
On the menu is salmon, cod, chicken, rice and peas, kerala, okra, plantain, chick pea curry.
Can’t frickin wait, we’ll have a small bit of everything.
