What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Tagliatelle with smoked salmon, garlic & herbs cream cheese, fresh basil, a splash of lemon juice and lots of black pepper.
Garlic bread slice.
A couple of Jaffa cakes.
Lemon green tea.

Spicy chickpea wholewheat wraps (caramelised red onion, chickpeas smothered in smoked paprika), with chipotle mayo, homemade guac, and shredded Romaine dressed with fresh lime juice.

Fella's making proper brownies today, with naughty butter! mmMM! They'll have chopped pecans in them, and we'll have them with defrosted raspberries.

Big cook day, making a massive pasta sauce (probably use some for a pasta bake as SO requested and some for Lasagne, making bechamel, dried pasta tho) and a chili at the same time, can share a lot of the prep and ingredients, mirepoix and holy trinity just need one sub, then its not all that much more effort to make two at once. Especially when you are splitting the prep with someone.

Mrs Numbers has the Duchy Pot out

She’s cooking for her Mam and Aunt who’s visiting from the states for a month, it might be the last time they see one another as sisters :( as both are in their 80s and not in the best of health.

On the menu is salmon, cod, chicken, rice and peas, kerala, okra, plantain, chick pea curry.

Can’t frickin wait, we’ll have a small bit of everything.

Wow sounds like a hell of a menu! I'm cooking about 40-60 portions depending on added carbs and that all seems way too much work for me lol. Well done chef.
