What's for tea tonight? (#8)

It's a bit boring, since I have the makings for a bit of a Sunday roast, but I've got a supermarket pepperoni pizza in the freezer that is taking up room that I need for other stuff tomorrow, so I'll be eating the pizza.
We'll have a Monday Roast instead, will report back with details about that tomorrow.

Paprika roast potatoes and a sausage traybake with peppers, shallots and a tin of cherry tomatoes

Leftovers of this
I drained the juice from the tomatoes into a bowl and added Worcester sauce, mixed herbs and plenty of s&p to it. Tomatoes and juice added to the sausages and veg for the last 20 minutes.

A bit like a lazy sausage casserole, it was really good.

Family came over yesterday for my birthday. Several large Domino’s pizzas ordered.

Veg Supreme pizza with Cajun fries.
Large slice of birthday cake.
Prosecco and cocktails.

Tonight I’m having…
Lemon sole, beetroot, spring onion, buttery boiled new potatoes.
Slice of birthday cake.
Lemon green tea.

I've been given loads of courgettes, so I've made a courgette and chickpea filo pie. Having it with a big salad.

Ice cream sandwich for pudding using white chocolate digestives and raspberry ripple ice cream.
That sounds amazing (I love courgettes!)

Was supposed to be doing a roast for me plus a veggie roast (involving a spinach and cheddar wellington) for N, but he got offered an extra shift tonight and although I'm a bit pissed off about it, we do need the money.

So he had some tinned spaghetti on toast before dashing off, and I'm having a bit of a roast - Chicken leg, steamed broccoli and leeks, fried mushrooms (which I might incorporate into a bit of a sauce with brandy, white wine, and mustard), and roast spuds,

Fuck knows, I had my curry from friday fridged and ready to go. Just had SO have a huge go at me about allegedly mixing two together (who would want that?) Based primarily on the premiss that I had some left and they did not. One smells perfectly like mine, the other has specific veg in it that are not in hers. So I get blamed for having a drink and apparently confusing the labels, written on by the takeaway and I am not illiterate so wtf? I am apparently now being accused of stealing half a curry for no reason (we have way too much food even if I was inclined which I am not). Also lacking the ability to tell clearly labelled things apart and then accused of being drunk based on us both drinking and me having significantly less with a far higher tolerance (I'm just far far larger).

Oh blimey, when I am doing reheated curry I almost always combine at least the ones we can both eat, it saves on pans/containers!
The only thing I keep separate is meat stuff as N doesn't eat meat and I usually do 1 meat dish for my own use.

We had it in different fridges! (Got one from a relative who upgraded). Got it Friday so last night I used rice to stretch it, brought my 2 tubs in and made it into 4, ate one so 3 left. The colours aren't even remotely similar for two of them, the one that is similarish I am being weirdly accused of mixing a balti and a garlic chili thing together for apparently no reason since it includes some very obvious green chilis not visible in hers. It makes absolutely no sense and they constantly lose stuff in the fridges and freezers, I have to freeze extras they make every single time they do it cos they forget but sure now they have a perfect memory on something they weren't even there for and makes no sense.

I don't care about the food, its the weird presumption of lying that pisses me off. We are not small children, both of us are adults by a considerable amount that we have adult children. What the fuck?
