Slow cooker beef curry made with beef skirt. I've already roasted the spices etc and it's on low now for 7 hours.
Last night I went out for dinner and had lamb tagine, saffron rice and flat bread. I also tried my friend’s falafel and the filo cheese things she ordered. All really lovely. Puddings looked great but we were way too full.
I wanted to make tapas tonight but I’ve got horrible vertigo today so Mr Looby is cooking when he gets back from football. We’ll have pasta with chorizo and cream cheese I think. I sounds nice so hope it’s not a bit odd in reality.
Made a cracking coleslaw based on Felicity Cloake's 'perfect coleslaw' but with extra kickHomemade Nando's.
Peri peri chicken for me and the Tiddler, vegan no chicken buffalo wings for the littlun. Cajun potato wedges, Mexican rice, creme freche, probably coleslaw if I can be bothered/have time to make it.
A bottle of Desperado the littlun's mates left here the other night

Round 2 of this meal:
Traybake with thick pork sausages, sliced new potatoes, red onion, red pepper, garlic, chilli flakes, oregano, thyme and basil. Last of the retsina.
Bloody delicious.
Aye, this isn't the FEB thread where vitriolic criticism of meal photos is the done thing, this is a much friendlier thread and I love seeing photos! There was a photo of your cooking thread for a bit which I really enjoyed too. I'm largely in favour of food photos, as long as the thread doesn't turn hyper-critical (which I don't think this one would, much like the baking one is pretty friendly and supportive).
Yeah totally. I get the FEB thread is a parady, but also a shame. See also the recent split In the burger thread where it was suggested it should be more FEB style. Basically food is awesome.
Bonkers thought. Has anyone tried brining Pork loin for a Sunday Roast?
Cauliflower cheese, salt and vinegar roast potatoes, roast PSB.

Salt and Vinegar Potatoes
While steaming then roasting potatoes may seem rather a fandango, one bite of these will convince you that it's utterly worth it; besides, it's not as if you have to do anything while they either steam or roast. Go slowly when adding the salt and vinegar, tasting as you go, as I like these to...www.nigella.com
