Brown stew, although I think I need to give it a different name as it sounds so uninspiring for something with so much flavour. Thyme grown in our garden.

That's a shame. I love a savoury crumble. The Cranks recipe is pretty good, can share that if you want.I just spent ages making a root vegetable crumble which has turned out a stodgy mess. I think I will try it again with major tweaks to the recipe. The recipe is from the Riverford Organics website and there are quite a few things wrong with it. So disappointing when that happens. And it's the first thing I've cooked in days. Bah.
Yes please!! It was tasty enough and I really like the idea but the quantities were all wrong, the combination of vegetables was wrong (in my view) and the sauce was too thick. Just irritates me when recipes are bad like that. That's a shame. I love a savoury crumble. The Cranks recipe is pretty good, can share that if you want.

You can use which veg you like. I swap half the flour for oats and don't bother with the tinned tomatoes. This is easier as you don't cook a separate sauce.
does packet ramen with added hot sauce count as a meal? It doesn't does it?Nowt, feel sick

I've decided against - they're too insubstantial - had two earlier and they left me hungry. I also don't think they count as they only consist as one food group - imo you need more than just noodles and chemicals - there's no veg or owt, and no protein,
I count it as a meal ?
Last night was Kurdish biryani, which is bulgar with slow cooked lamb, chickpeas, spices, salad and unidenfiable green and beige sauces. Was lovely.
