What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Being Friday and a Catholic (lapsed) it will be fish and chips.....
Cod - Birds Eye large fillet..
Sea Salt & Chardonnay Wine Vinegar Chunky Chips (Co Op - have binned sachet and will stick with the Sarson's)
White wine.
Feet up and will catch up on the latest curb your enthusiasm...

I can find veggie sausages (Cauldron) that substitute well for meat sausages, and I like veggie haggis, even though it's nothing like 'proper' haggis.. This veggie black pud was okay, but don't know if I'd buy it again. Maybe there are better versions.
Maybe not, then 😆 No idea why I was craving black pudding the other day. Probably just best to stick with the Cauldron and Linda bangers.

Because black pudding is lovely. But sadly pigs are treated horribly, and that includes outdoor bred, which is about as ethical as many of us will have access to.

I'm doing a Thai style thing involving chicken* and cashews, also have mushrooms, peppers, pak choi, green beans, spring onions, chillies (hit the mother lode of gorgeous looking birds eye chillies, will freeze a lot of them), also have a large bunch of Thai basil - again will use some and freeze the rest.

*If the bit of chicken in the fridge is still good, if not I'll have a few prawns instead.

Will have with jasmine rice.
