What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Might be a change of plan. Just remembered the fella has a busy schedule this week, gigs, zoom interviews and the like, so might have to make roast peppers/courgette/onion or shallots/garlic/cherry toms with melted cheese on and pesto fusilli, cos otherwise the veg won't get used.
 
I think I am going to cook duck breast with veg noodles - don't have a lot of veg in really, will just fry the duck (I got duck breast portions on offer the other day, quite small but tasty) and do egg noodles with mushroom, carrot, celery, yellow pepper, onion, chillies, ginger, garlic - mostly stuff that is lurking in the fridge and needs using up. Also have some leftover brussels sprouts which I may stir fry with cashews - I'll do that separate to the noodles though as OH isn't that keen on sprouts or cashews, and I intend to leave him a serving of the veg noodles to reheat when he gets in from work in the morning.

Thinking of doing a sauce to go with the duck, just googling for ideas - any suggestions welcomed! I found a recipe for an apricot based dipping sauce which I have all the ingredients for, but I really want a warm sauce - so may adapt that into a cooked hot/sweet/sour type deal. Unless anyone has any better suggestions?

It's like a Mexican Standoff here in Casa Numbers at the moment, beautifully tense and undecided.

I have an online basket filled with kebab delights, all it needs is an itchy trigger finger numbers with one further click and it's boom, aka kebab time.

Out of the options you said earlier I'd go for kebab, can you accidentally click and somehow blame Marvin for stepping on the keyboard/phone etc?
