What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Just me and the girl tonight and we're going to have a (very small) bbq. Got a couple of lamb steaks out and I'll marinade them in some garlic/rosemary/lemon zest and will probably do the very small courgette we have growing too, have some tomatoes on the side and then *something* to go with it :hmm: maybe some bulghur wheat....

ICE POPS for pudding!

Mind your frilly nylon cuffs don't catch light.
 
Am currently thinking of fried halloumi, potato salad, and a fuck off big green salad

Or maybe a proper Greek salad, if I can get any feta
 
Chicken shish kebab, chips and a can of coke. Came with job offer as delivery man. Never had that as a side order before. It's more of a dessert thing really.
 
Pasta with creamy,
bacon, chilli, lemon pea sauce and a mini magnum :)
Might have some coffee and walnut cake for second pudding too :D
 
mmm...i like but must had been crap without the beansprouts.

yeah, not quite the same :( but it was yummy! we did have bamboo shoots at least!

diddly - it's just an omlette really ;) but i put mint in the egg mixture. the filling was bamboo shoots, mushrooms, carrots, peppers, fresh peas, spring onions, garlic and ginger, all stir-fried up with loadsandloadsa coriander, some chilli sauce and some soy sauce. nom. first time I've made it. would probably do it a bit differently next time...

My ex took my daughter last night so I gave him the lamb steaks for them to eat and I had lotsa wine and some beer and then a whole packet of jumbo scampi and a packet of Monster Munch :oops: :D

Got her tonight though and we're having cantonese corn soup with the leftover meat and the stock from Sunday's chicken.

First though, I'm having moussaka for breakfast (fuck sake....got to get back on top of the HEALTHY EATING! :facepalm: :D )...... :cool:

Well, did the Greek salad, and made me own dressing with olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, and oregano - and it was fucking LUSH! :cool::cool:

Off out tonight, so something small. P'raps a fried egg butty.
 
steak! If all goes to plan. And he's been mentioning matchstick potatoes or something. And I'll have some veg - probably broccoli, maybe courgette.
 
I'm making a veggie spag bol. It seems to have become a almost weekly staple for me. This is because I'm on a roll with making it tasty, I can freeze portions and my cooking mojo is bunking off big time. I now walk around supermarkets in a daze hoping for inspiration. I used to be good at meal planning before I went shopping but now I just see a blank space.

I'm thinking I may be better at winter style of cooking?
 
Burger Tuesday for me with what's left of the red onion relish I made on Sunday, and for the young man, I took a tired-sounding fone-request for fishfingers and roast roots, so he must be in need of some comfort-food
