I didn't fancy the mainly pasta based options from the hotel room service, so I got a kebab from a nearby takeaway place. Need to get organised otherwise the lack of cooking facilities will bankrupt me.

Homemade calzone for the first time at the request of eldest child who want feeling great. Made the dough in the breadmaker then mushrooms, tomato sauce and much cheese: avocado salad. Success! Last of the passion fruit sorbet for afters.

I've got some things out of the freezer - cubed potatoes, and a sort of minced meat mix I did last week. That'll have to do, with peas.

No fucking coriander, so no curry for us. Bugger. Right, well, either baked spudz/cheez/beanz, or feta-stuffed roast peppers with pesto fusilli and salad then.

The jam and cream slices we should have had yesterday but didn't cos the fella's care call turned into 8.5 hours at the hossy and he only got home gone 10pm last night.

Avoided the temptation of a hotel room service option: I purchased from Sainsburys:

Some cooked garlic and herb chicken, a side salad, a kabuto pot noodle. A reasonably healthy and cheap dinner given I only have a kettle. Note to self, purchase stuff later in the day as no fridge in room!

I need to use the rapidly-withering vine toms on me kitchen windowsill, so them, roasted with garlic, and served with pesto gnocchi.
