Last night was jerk chicken thighs and drumsticks, chips, corn on the cob and salad.

Tonight is pasta with fennel and sausage.

Made way too much schezuan beef noodles yesterday. So I'll finish that off tonight.

Steak pie, baby potatoes, and a rather dull salad enlivened by a rather ferocious dressing.

Hot gammon & mustard/fried halloumi baguettes, with avo, lettuce and mayo and baby plum tomatoes with s&p on the side. Grapes and Malteasers for pudding.

Ginormous baked sweet potato, runner beans in garlicky tomato sauce. This lacks protein but I cba to cook anything else and I don't think cheese goes with sweet potato?

The veg glut is in full swing again after a brief respite.

Frozen pizza tonight, I'm feeling a bit grumpy about it, but I need to do a quick meal and am running out of food at this point. Need to do a proper shop but it is proving difficult.

Those last 2 posts are not making me feel any better about my frozen pizza dinner, those meals sound absolutely fantastic, I hope to fuck that we have some money so I can do a shop tomorrow

Dont worry we all been there and I always keep a spare pizza in the freezer. Try dressing it up with a few extra ingredients if you can

Had a vegetarian burger...made with pumpkin and curry. It was nice. With lots of fried onions, tomato and lettuce and cheese on top and burger sauce, tomato ketchup and barbecue sauce.

Home made chips.

Oh I am so jealous, it has been ages since we had toad in the hole. I need to get individual tins so I can do a meat sausage toad for me and a quorn sausage toad for him.

I'm about to downsize so going to experiment with a ceramic dish tonight as I use it far often for other things than the metal tin.

I was given these as a gift from my Landlord when I was living in Cyprus when he came to collect the rent. They were very tasty. The next month it was an entire bag of peaches from his garden.
