What's for tea tonight? (#8)

more traditional salad leaves but peas work. Brussel sprouts probably beat broccoli in the insanity.
Ok, I'll have it without salad then. That's easy.

I really fancied Keema again, but ended up in A&E with my Dad and we had chips after.

So I'll probably do it tonight. Looking at Google Keema Aloo is a thing, which I find amusing. Mince and potatos seems such a British thing to eat, but it's all the spices that make it.
Hope Pops is in one piece. If eating chips presumably so.

Thanks. Sent in by a doctor who told us to wait a few hours before sending notes/concerns in. Phoned us to say notes had been sent so of we trotted. Looked at blankly by hospital staff who said there was no mechanism to do so. So a rather wasted 4 hours.

I love Keema UAOS, especially if it is ground lamb, beef is second

Was going to try lamb tonight, but they had none. Oh well its over twice the price. Saw a Pakistani version online earlier that had no tomato of any kind in. Was a bit sceptical, but forgot to buy tomatoes, so went for it. Added serious amounts of chillis. Was quite good, think next time I'll do one with tomato paste, but not tinned. Spuds worked a treat, which is great as it bulks it out, so when I do a huge batch for the freezer can make a load of meals a bit cheaper. :)

when I picture keema, aloo, mutter this is what I see

An ancient recipe, no idea where it came from, but it is sage derby (never easy to source) mixed up with onions, sour cream and eggs, touch of flour...delicious and not had for ages

I’m making vegetarian haggis again. Modifying the recipe a bit from last time. Hoping to make it more peppery than last time.

The M&S ones?
What are they like?
Yeah. They're not too bad actually - although I was a bit dubious when I bought them (and remember having a wtf conversation with a fellow shopper when I picked them up). Toasted with some cheese in the middle - OK.

I hope they finish the renovation of the food hall quickly - it is very confusing as they keep moving stuff around as they seal off bits of the floor to tart it up. I'm a creature of habit and don't like change.
