What's for tea tonight? (#8)

sounds great. Jerk chicken for me tonight. Any recommendaions for Jerk Marinade? Currently my favourite is Walkerswood.

My bezzer brought 2 huge packs of Doritos along with the popcorn last night and we ate the lot........straight after the pizza....urgh....all still felt well overstuffed this morning!

She also brought me a cup of tea in bed this morning. I said (half asleep) '....but I don't have tea in bed! ' then realised that that's just cos I don't have anyone to BRING me tea in bed </violins> so then said 'Oh! But I CAN have tea in bed! ' :D

Just me tonight!

Going to do some bulghur wheat with griddled courgettes and yellow pepper and some garlic king prawns.

Went for Spanish chicken in the end last night - chicken with chorizo, tomatoes, sweet chilli sauce and chickpeas. Served with roasted asparagus - was yum.

Not sure tonight - finish work lateish so might go out for tea.

*looks at belly* nope no burritos/fajitas for me, already had chocolate on Monday, albeit to stop me passing out :D :(

My asparagus will be nice, although I'm not even hungry now really.

Home-made fish fingers, home-made oven chips and mushy peas out of a tin. I've made the fish fingers with pollock, works well.

Served with a large beer after the day I've had.

last night's cottage pie. and strawberries with white chocolate and lemon curd yoghurt. and maybe some more soup :hmm:

No CHEESE on the jersey royals, moose?! One of my favourite meals since I was little - a big pan of jersey royals, butter and various cheeses in the middle of the table - cut little mouthfuls of potato, bit of butter, bit of cheese, BOB'S YOUR FUCKING UNCLE!!!

We're having chinese lemon chicken with rice, PSB (STILL going! ) and asparagus. Rhubarb crumble cake and single cream for pudding.

last night's thai corncakes were a bit of a disaster... thought it was because maybe the oil wasn't at the right temperature since I dont' have a thermometer at the moment... wasn't until this morning that I realised I forgot to put the egg in  :D  ooops... still, they tasted okay and the cucumber salad is always the best bit...

tonight will be something thai again I think... something with mint too...

I'm thinking I will make aloo gobi & a tarka daal with rice. Maybe also a quorn curry as I'm doing a freezer cook up today.

I'm going to have a go at making this onion tart tonight:

With steamed new potatoes and asparagus.

There should be loads left over for lunches tomorrow too.

Well, I made this last night and it was ... ok... ish.
It's a low fat recipe so the base was more scone than pastry, which meant that it was a bit stodgy.
I don't think I'll bother again.
(and there's loads left so I've got it for tea again tonight :()
