What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I did all the preparation, fried of the Onions and added the spices, then realised we were out of tomatoes. Used coconut milk instead.

Just gone to out the rice on and realised we're out of white, so dinner is much delayed whilst I cook brown.

Homemade bean burgers using broad beans, canneleni, red pepper, spring onion, bread crumbs, curry powder and egg to bind. Served on warm ciabatta bread and oven chips.

I bought one of those crispy net things in Poundland today and makes a noticeable difference to the chips.

Got a burger for lunch tomorrow and made a chickpea & aubergine plus spinach to be wilted in curry for tomorrow when I finish a 13 hour shift.

What's a crispy net then?
I think it's one of these.

Have been craving Shepherd's pie all week due to posts on here so am having that with some lentils in it to bulk it out  Will be served with baked beans.
My mother always used to serve cottage pie with baked beans, and beef gravy. Tried to explain to the fella what an amazing combination it is, but he didn't believe me til I did the veggie version for him
