What's for tea tonight? (#8)

^ That's just reminded me of the guy in Tesco's the other day who was talking to someone on his phone about the "tortillas" (pronounced like the end of "vanilla") he needed to buy. Is that an actual thing some people do? It sounded ridiculous :D

I bought myself a petrol station sandwich on the way from the office to a meetup. Then I was early so rather than eating it I had sushi and soup from Abokado instead, which was very nice and 25% off. Then inevitably I ate the sandwich too when I got home.

I bought some of these noodles today on the strength of your recommendations. I'll report back
Have you tried them yet polly ?

Well, predictably I am fucking shattered today, having only got to bed at 2.45 after several large rums and a perfect gig, so it's easy-peasy freezer-foraged chicken madras for me with microwaveable rice. Then a huge slab of coffee and walnut cake and a sleep I reckon.

Got a hawaian pizza from lidl for 1.59 and a tub of belgian chocolate haagen daaz for 1.99. Was going to get the salted caramel one again but theyve all vanished.

Anyway I'm back to the best bunkhouse cooking on my little camp stove. Annoyingly I left all the chorizo and peppers I bought at home. So it a packet of flavoured rice, with some carrots and mattasons smoked sausage I managed to find in the local spa.

I feel your pain and admire your persevering. I've several good steaks in the freezer I can't bring myself to eat at the moment. I really need to find a local dentist as well as saving for some implants.

sojourner I threw them in the cupboard and forgot I had them. Tomorrow! I hope you can hold on till then.

Tonight a big salad I reckon. Feel like lots of green stuff. And wine.

I love ramen and other noodle dishes like pho, but I struggle to eat them with dignity. is there a secret to eating it without getting splatters all over the place?

Protein shake after gym.

Two chicken steaks in breadcrumbs, broccoli, a tomato, slice of museli bread with butter. Coconut (flavour) yoghurt.
