Another of those margherita pizzas I'm getting a bit addicted to, and the last of the roast chicken from the fridge. Can't remember how long that's been there, but it still smells alright Cup of tea

I ended up having a tin of soup last night, so maybe prawn stir fry tonight instead. Or maybe I'll let the girl choose, since I am on my way to collect her after she bumped her head at school.

Was gonna make cheesy homelette and chups, but now fancying pasta in mascarpone/parmesan/spinach sauce, topped off with toasty pine nuts.

In another fascinating twist to Tea Life, I didn't have this, cos the friggin co op didn't have any al capone, so we had veggie cheeseburgers and spicy wedges instead. Nom.

We ARE having it tonight though, so rest easy. And for afters, the co op have discounted their amazing coffee and walnut cakes to 99p! So of course I bought three of them. Bargain, right?

The kids chose pizza in the end; I didn't fancy that, so they're having pizza and I'm having tomato spaghetti and we're all having garlic bread.

Scrambled egg on toast. Spent the last hour waiting for a cake to cook and couldn't be arsed with doing much else afterwards.

Fast day so I had a sainsbury's ready meal of bbq turkey with sweet potato mash and greens. I bulked it out a bit with some broccoli and asparagus from the reduced section.

What I really wanted was the 4 cheese pizza I made for my son.

The bag I took out of the freezer last night turned out to be a vegetarian dish. Buggered if I can remember when I made it, but it was lovely.
Parsnip chunks, shredded Savoy c cabbage, red lentils, butter beans with a lot of chilli, mustard seeds and garlic. Nice.

Yes sausage stew it was! With three types of chilli, mustard seeds, proper Spanish smoked paprika, cumin and loads of garlic and ginger. And a little bit of sour cream on top. Yummy.

Pork loin medallion with onion & apple gravy, baked chunks of sweet potato, steamed broccoli and spring greens. Didn't have hot chocolate last night in the end but I think I will tonight.

How do you do your spinach and mascarpone pasta sauce sojourner?
