Steak and chips if I'm lucky.
Lasagne for us tonight - that's if the thing I took out of the freezer is ragu, it might be chilli con carne.
I really should label these things, I always think I'll remember, but I never do
This harrowing tale has reached its conclusion. My existential onion crisis has been averted. 5kgs for two quid in Lidl. It was like ''Touching The Void'' there for a bit, but with onions.Yeah I think pretty much everything I can cook is based on them. I walked right past a massive bag for 2 quid in Lidl, too.
''Ooh that's good value,'' I thought, walking on obliviously into an onionless void of apocalyptic emptiness.
Blackened sweetcorn coleslaw, roast red onions w/ walnut salsa, and a vegan curry thing.
Bit disappointed with the slaw, tbh. Not actively bad, but not as interesting as I'd hoped. And definitely the least interesting thing on the plate.

Erm. We decided to finish off the port after the wine. Then hit the rum after the pasta. Saturday was a bit of a wipe out!Prosecco!! And red wine!! And crisps!!
And then later, pasta with wild mushroom sauce, black olives, and lashings of mature cheddar
Yup, I use them in almost everything! Glad to hear the crisis was averted eventuallyYeah I think pretty much everything I can cook is based on them.
A green sandwich. Something with minted peas send stuff in it - rather than a mouldy sandwich I fished out of the bin.
Minty peas are brilliant with fish. The sandwich (now I've checked the ingredients) contains minted edamame & pea crush on linseed & chia bread. Got some leafy stuff in it too. One of the five a day.I had a delicious fish finger and minty peas sandwich late on Saturday. My pal treated me, and there was enough left for breakfast the next day too
