Don't know how to spell it but my Burmese friend makes it and calls it timioleto

You mash up potatoes noodles rice tofu cabbage tamarind chilli garlic soy gram flour grapefruit (and goose berries just cos we had them) with your fingers at the table
Love it. We had it for tea last night.
Spicy comfort food

I'm really crabby today and keep changing my mind about dinner. I've got two chicken breasts that need eating so first I suggested a mini roast. We couldn't be arsed to go out for spuds so that became mushroom risotto with chicken and chorizo. Then I had a huff about not wanting the chicken at all so we've settled on pasta with chorizo and peppers in a tomato and mascarpone sauce. (((Mr s))) [emoji33]

The dogs will be happy though, they get the chicken!

Urad is fit. It's what makhani dal is made from

Just ordered a Chinese for our tea... chicken balls, beef in black bean, egg fried rice and chicken chow mein
These are the split and dehusked urad, so they look pale not dark. Looking forward to it! And would like to try makhani dal too. Hope you enjoy your Chinese x

Ahhh, I didn't know they were ever anything other than white and had often idly wondered what makhani dal was made from

I made Egyptian ful medames, which are fava beans with onion, garlic, tomatoes, fresh coriander, fresh parsley, cinnamon, cumin, chillis, cayenne pepper and loads of olive oil. We're eating them with more parsley and hard goat's cheese. Bloody yum.

That sounds well fit

Home made leek and potato soup, used my stick blender for the first time since i got it. Also realised this is the first thing i've eaten today, other than a tiny bit of cheese

I'm currently aiming for 2,000 calories a day, but I'm home today so that's 500 calories of cycling I'm not doing ...

perhaps I should skip first course and go straight for the muesli ...

Perhaps some giant baked beans or stuffed cabbage ...
