What's for tea tonight? (#8)

A boiled egg butty - two hard boiled eggs, cold from the fridge, sliced up between a buttered seedy baguette. A pot of Lady Grey. Then a 3 grain, apple and fennel salad that I forgot was in the fridge and needed using today. Beetroot tea.

Just had a piece of toast as I had raging hormonal hunger all day and had a huge sandwich, chocolate bar, leftover pasta etc etc in the afternoon.

We've got a load of veggies to use up so we're having veggie coconut curry. Veggies inc baby corn, sugar snap peas, broc, peppers and potatoes. It will be spicy and gingery. Boy is cooking.

I cooked in the end. I made this but with mushrooms instead of potatoes. Loads of sesame seeds made it nicely nutty.

Oh and noodles.

The fella's off out to rehearsal, so it's freezer foraging day. Veggie Moroccan meatballs and couscous for him, and veggie chow mein (and yet more leftover cold roast chicken) for me

We've still got loads of veggies to use up so maybe veggie fried rice.

Boy wants pasta chilli pesto but I'm trying to stay away from pasta as much as I can.

Also I've got a small pot that I'm using to measure portion size for breakfast and lunch. I'm thinking i could use it for tea as well but it's not very big so I wouldn't get much pasta in there anyway!

Chicken tinga tacos tonight from an old el paso kit. It looks lovely but probably not hot enough so I'll add some extra chipotle paste. Not sure what to have with it, either rice or spicy wedges.

I'm on holiday and on a diet - going out for grilled fish, chips :D and salad. It's really hard to be on a diet and on holiday at the same time. Maybe I can ask the restaurant to substitute the chips with something else? I'm hungry though :/

Sod the diet if you're on holiday, and just eat what you like. You can always get back on the wagon when you get home. :)

It's illegal to have fish without chips anway. ;)

The thing is though, there's always some excuse for me. I finally got some real motivation and have been doing well for 6 days now, don't want to fail now. I will have chips though :)

Homemade nandos; i.e. lidl peri peri chicken, oven chips and either salad or sweetcorn. I will miss the rice and the coleslaw (and the olives garlic).

Child has leftover spag bol but she will probably have some (of my :oops:) chips.

That sounds good, have you got the recipe please blairsh?
Witness the slowness  sscuse me.

I do have it but it weren't that great and i can't be arsed to try again tbh :D away at the moment but if you're still interested i wi pop it up on here and tag you if you like :)
