What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Pasta bake using the leftovers from yesterday's roast chicken, a jar of Aldi tomato & pancetta pasta sauce, a tin of sweetcorn and some cheese for the top.

Did a roast chicken yesterday, just right after 10 days of imodium and paracetamol. Curry tonight, that'll learn it.

Holy fucking shit moose  I looked that lasagne up out of curiosity and it's thirty fucking quid!! THIRTY QUID!!
That's for a whole one I think. It's normally 4.99 a big slice, but I went late in the afternoon and it was £3 a slice. Still really expensive but gorgeous and not 30 quid!

Pizza for the little'un. Dunno what for me. Something not meat. Chilli garlic greens and pasta maybe, or pea soup.

was at a horticulture and food fest so been sampling cheese, sausages, mini burgers, dips and pies, free beer, ale and whiskey! weather was crap though, came home around 6 and made tuna puttanesca with fresh basil. Now sobering myself with some mint tea.

Aiming for the blandest of bland.
Can of lentil and veggy soup, bag of wholegrain microwave rice, can of butter beans.
Nuked for 8 minutes then served with tahini.

Tipped the last bit down my trousers :(

We're making chicken tortilla wraps with left over jerk chicken from yesterday's bbq. Inside will also be beans, jalapeños, rice, cheese and sour cream.so jerk chicken burrito basically :)

Skipped the rice. Made a spicy bean salsa instead. Nommed a load of the salsa out of the bowl also. Strawberries for afters.

Making chicken pho today in slow cooker. A kind of cheats pho, as i'll be using Marco Pierre Whites chicken stock pot instead of boiling bones for hours to make the stock. But i do have chicken, rice noodles, fresh chilli, ginger, lime, scallions and fresh mint, basil and coriander. Next time i will do it really properly.

Wondered where you'd been! Glad you're feeling better :)

Blimey - well, that is a bit better! :D

Hoping you're feeling on the up very soon blairsh :)

Think himself is off out to rehearsal toneet, so we shall be dining on veggie hotdogs with boiled onions.

The whole one is for people having dinner parties who want people to think they've made it themselves. If all my friends didn't live on the Internet, I'd do them a homemade lasagne. :D
:D:D

Fuck, if I can get £30 for making a lasagne I am deffo in the wrong job!

Pea soup. Homemade garlic bread (too strong, I'll never get it right it seems - can't eat shop bought because dairy).

Turkey, bacon, avocado. Either spring greens or tenderstem broccoli depending on which needs used first.
