I made an asparagus and lemon risotto with some lovely English sparrow grass that I found at the greengrocers at the weekend and stock from the freezer from the Xmas bird.

I am pleased to report that it was delicious!

Very pleased with myself as I don't cook often at the moment.

An M&S 'Count on us' chicken curry ready meal. I've been camping with friends and eaten nothing but bread, bacon and sausage for the last few days. Spicy tasty food was very welcome!

I have finally broken my bad cooking streak, yay! Made prawn, broccoli, kale and pepper stir fry with spicy peanut sauce. It was FIT.

Have a Groupon voucher for burger, fries & cocktail at www.porterhousesy1.co.uk being veggie my choice is smaller but I expect it will be very tasty plus cocktail(s)..I'm not driving!

Tomorrow I have a chickpea & red lentil soup with yoghurt & wholemeal pitta bread. Soup I have just made as working all Sat/Sun and out today.

ETA: just saw snow cones cocktails & cocktails for £4.50 before 7pm..I'm there from 6.30pm..
