What's for tea tonight? (#8)

We just had an amazing meal at a pub next to Corfe Castle. He had a thai seafood curry which looked good but oh my god, mine was so lovely. Ribeye steak with a mushroom sauce, enormous chips, mushrooms in garlic butter, psb and cherry tomatoes on the vine. All really simple but every bit of it was absolutely perfect. [emoji41] We really wanted pudding because I bet they were gorgeous but we were too stuffed.

i have chicken drumsticks and mushrooms, so will probably fry them for a bit with some garlic and then stick em in the oven with some stock and maybe a little bit of cream. and eat it with some rice.

Homemade burgers in the oven....its football night and I've had a stressful day, or rather afternoon.....crab salad as a side. Can't do anything right today (well, from around 2 this afternoon).:mad: Just had a singing session with my bro in law and his swoonworthy bass, he played, I belted them out. Felt good!:thumbs::thumbs:

Tomorrow we're going to have an ends veggie chilli. It will use up all the scratty veg that needs to be eaten and the rest of the quorn mince from the freezer. There will be multibeans also x

I ran out of canned tomatoes so I used some fresh ones and a can o baked beans! Fingers crossed it'll be good. About to dish up.

Edit: FIT. Also there were packets of garlic bread for 39p each so had chilli on the garlic bread and topped the whole lot with cheese.

A weird mash-up of fish pie and macaroni cheese and veg - I'm looking forward to it so much
It's fish pie mix, white wine / cheese white sauce, macaroni pasta, sweetcorn and peas mixed together, then butternut squash mash and grated cheese over the top. It's browning nicely in the oven now
I've been feeling shit and eating badly and therefore feeling more shit recently so cooking is
Day off tomorrow to spend batch cooking.

sheothebudworths, I'll just leave this here  :p :D *mwah*

:D I love the serious faces, too :D Do NOT FUCK with the BROCCOLI!

(Do you HEAR, moonsi til ?! )

Umm... Monday was scampi/fishfingers, oven chips, tenderstem broc and green beans.
Yesterday the kids had saveloy/battered sausage, chips and curry sauce (requested by my daughter! :hmm: ) from the chippy and strawberry ice cream milkshakes for pudding and I had asparagus soup (made cos the tips were on the turn :( so I had to chop them off and serving them severed like that would've made me feel like a bit of a wrong un :D ).
Tonight is a chicken breast/courgette/butternut/potato/mushroom/onion/garlic/herb bake thing and lemon curd yoghurt for pudding.

I managed to make something even shitter than last night's tea. And it took longer! Fucking yay.

Then I made consolation toast and that was shit too. I am going to sulk in bed.
Fingers crossed for tonight. Teas that turn out shite, and take ages to cook are gutting  :(

Whenever I am really fucked off, I find a good sing and/or drumming sesh lifts my spirits no end :)

May Kasahara - hope tonight's tea works out, lovely. Maybe make an old favourite, just to be on the safe side.

Tonight's tea for us is Cauldron Lincolnshire saussies, with roast onions, potato dolphin nose from the discounted bit in Co op, and I think some cauli and broccoli too. Nom.

Wine first though as himself is off out folk n rolling it again tomorrow for two nights, and I've got two gigs on the trot after that.

No idea tonight, it'll either be a ready meal, pasta and sauce or takeaway as we've got nothing else in. We've got a mountain of stuff to unpack and I've got three practice exam papers and other homework to do. Plus a house with random furniture in every room but nowhere to sit. [emoji35] I'm tempted to drive straight back to the campsite. [emoji3]

I think it was my mum's pie kittyP :D IIRC Moose made angry biscuits (though she was the first to post about it so I am not trying to claim the glory  Promise). Looking good.

I made chicken cacciatore and spag for my fussy children. They rejected it so we ate it instead.

Fair enough!
I tip my hat to your mum :)
