What's for tea tonight? (#8)

A sausage tomato slop thing. Going to chop up the sausages into coins, fry them off and put to one side, then fry off onion/garlic/red chillies, then yellow and orange peppers. Chuck everything in together with some tins of chopped tomatoes, and simmer gently for a bit. Then serve with TB fresh pasta.

Fry the sausages whole, then slice them. Otherwise they tend to crumble.

I've got a hangover so all the food. I want a roast but we're painting and packing for camping so no time. Mr s has just been to waitrose and returned with a parmesan and tomato deboned chicken, stuffed mushrooms, green beans and chips. There's a chocolate brownie pudding in the fridge too. [emoji41]

Garlic crumbed prawns from the TB for starters, lamb chops (also from the TB) with pesto, potatoes and pea puree. Then a spnge pudding with creme fraiche

Yesterday I had wrap with steak and cheese and sour cream and refried beans and a lovely, very garlicy and chilli-y salsa with loads of lime and coriander. It was so delicious I decided I'd do it again today, so I took another steak out of the freezer last night. After a bottle of vino tinto, I should point out. Because when I inspected it this morning it was no more a sodding steak than I am.
It was a bag of chicken livers.
So it was either go out and buy a steak AND make pate to use the livers up or use them in the aforementioned wrap. So I used the livers.

Cor! It was lush.

Looks lush, give us more details :)
It was two white onions, a bulb of garlic, red chillies, an orange pepper and two yellow peppers. Chopped up and fried in the fat from the sausages and some extra olive oil. The sausages went back in after the veg had softened a bit along with two tins of chopped tomatoes, and simmered for half an hour.

Tonight was chicken/potato/creamed corn soup with grated cheddar and *healthy* :hmm: Eton Mess for pudding (meringues/plain yoghurt/homemade strawberry coulis).
Last night was seafood and fennel stew with boiled potatoes and the same not-Eton mess for pudding..toast for my girl when she got in.
Friday was pulled pork in ciabatta rolls with mustard/mayo/cucumber, crisps, commiseration wine for me :( and not-Eton  mess.

sheothebudworths, I'll just leave this here  :p :D *mwah*
