What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Tesco's surprisingly good lentil and veggie soup - 36p a smallish can.
It's a bit salty, but far less cloying than Heinz.
Added a bag of Tilda wholegrain and some tofu that needed eating up and nuked it for 7 minutes in the microwave.

I think you should make cupcakes one day

Kebab for me, pizza for her. After conceding that a bowl of chocolate cereal probably wasn't enough for a 5yo's tea. How to tell a single mum is ill

I hope you're feeling at least a bit better this morning.

Just put the makings of a chilli con carne in the slow cooker.
Might have it for tea tonight, but I'm not sure I fancy it now
Never mind, it'll be portioned up and put in the freezer if we don't have it today.

Friday night dinner is always with my parents. This week I made a couple of burgers and curly fries and garlic mushrooms We all were so stuffed from the burgers, nothing else got eaten.

MrV turned 49 so birthday cake for afters.

Salad for today I reckon. Woke up with belly ache :)

Tonight is egg fried rice, it would be chicken eh fried rice but the chicken is frozen and I'm not sure I can be arsed defrosting it. Last night was pizza. Every Friday night is pizza, comes from when I was working and not wanting to cook, pickle had decided this is perfectly acceptable for a Friday tea

Picked up some flatiron steaks in the TB so the chilli is going in the freezer.
Will have them with a garlicky potato bake, mushrooms and broccoli.

Apple and a cup of coffee.
Packet of piri piri chicken slices.
Pesto chicken pasta.
Cocoa and cashew breakfast bar.

Garlicky mushroom pappardelle, garlic bread, asparagus with garlicky salsa. Strawberries and Victoria Sandwich.

Heart attack dinner in posh pub - i ordered macaroni cheese which was described as having fennel, gruyere cheese and smoked haddock. It was also huge and i ate most of it, it was for a special occasion, although nearly passed out afterwards!
