What is this 'tea' of which you speak?

Surely the only hot caffeinated beverage is coffee?

Tea is the hot beverage that makes the world a better place for the time it takes to drink whilst it’s still hot. (World isn’t better when tea is cold)

Coffee is the one to wake up and function

that’s why I make sure to drink copious amounts of both

I was round my sister's yesterday and was given tea made with a "matcha" blend teabag - possibly M&S where she works ...
I will have to find out what it is as I was sceptical, but it's the first time I've actually enjoyed tea around my siblings' houses ...

Bumping this as I've progressed from bog standard builder's tea head to all types of tea head and I often disclose my coffee favourites but not tea. This morning it's a sencha tea with rose. Smells like a posh, heady rose bath and tastes like it too in the very nicest way. Yesterday afternoon I had a pot of banana tea which I accidentally left to stew for ages and was a delight. I think the extra brew time benefited it.

Must be my advancing years combined with decent quality tea that I can now drink more delicate teas.

I've got some matcha that, now I've got the hang of brewing it properly, is absolutely banging. Can't wait to have long cold ones of those in the sweaty months.

I'm one of those deeply annoying people who is wide awake and chirpy as soon as I get up. Good job I live alone or I'd have been killed by now.
