So, not stupid shit Trump has done (plenty of that discussed already), but stupid shit that blows away the Democratic Party's chances of regaining the US congress and statehouses next year. Sections of the party leadership are still chasing the elusive white, male, fundamentalist Christian Trump supporters who won't vote Dem regardless of who they put up. Alienating the people who knock the doors, ferry people to the polls, organise the events, raise the funds and basically keep the party rolling is the stupidest move ever. I wish Shirley Chisolm would come back from the dead and slap the fuck out of all of them.
