Uh no. I've never denied that I regard the intersections of oppression and privilege in my analyses and racism forms part of this. I think this is pretty obvious in just about everything I write on here.you're amazing I say you have race based politics, you scream its not so and then prove it. BTW- 'brethren'. There are female socialists you know. And POC. I realise for someone who only noticed politics when the bad man won the election that history and indeed modernity are proving difficult to parse but these things are true.
oh you're a fan of immiseration? really? bit off if you ask me.
My point was you said 'my race based politics' like its something I made up myself rather than a reflection of reality in the AL election.
You still haven't answered what you think the sharp division in votes by race there means if it's not evidence not loyalty to race trumped class solidarity for white people.
And yes I'm aware there are POC and women who back Sanders. "I have comrades who are . . ." Doesn't cut it though.
Most POC don't back Sanders. Have you thought about why or what to do about that? Or are you not really bothered about it?
Also, remember the majority of white women voting in November last year and Alabama on Tuesday chose men with track records of misogyny and sexual assaults. Do just having women in the ranks is no guarantee that systemic misogyny isn't still there.
Black women in particular seem most sceptical about Sanders and 'our revolution' and also the folk most often attacked Sanders' advocates on social media. Your thoughts on this?
