What stupid shit has Trump done today?

I am beginning to notice more and more how American students in Europe are reacting to all the Trump shame in a horrible way. It isn't their job to apologise, but they have to take shit on his behalf. He is representing an entire nation, a very powerful nation as far as most of the World is concerned. Like Americans abroad aren't already hated enough. I genuinely feel for them, but many have given up caring, or trying to explain that they are not Donald Trump.

Sadly, I see friends in the UK sticking up for Trump on many an issue. I think I preferred the days before FB, when you could be ignorant of friends' and colleagues' political beliefs.

he did say after a ring wing nutter rammed into a crowd of protesters

that good people were on both side

he is already a bit of a cunt...

saying that maybe is getting a little overwhelmed with the workload

america first.. Britain first

I think his support for BF will backfire. He's heading into uncharted territory now.
TBF, he's been in unchartered territory since he first made the ghastly claims during the campaign about Mexicans being rapists and mocked the disabled reporter. Every outrageous thing he said or did after that was supposed to be the "last straw" until it wasn't, and the next one came along and similarly, was ignored/supported/rationalised by his "team," the GOP congress and/or his supporters. I'm pretty sure this will be no different.

So far, I've only noticed two Republican Senators condemning this - Graham and Flake, who are among the minority who have spoken out against Trump before, albeit usually faintly and not consistently. And look at the White House Press Secretary's response, ffs.

On Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump retweeted three videos purportedly showing Muslims committing acts of violence against Christians. He did so despite the fact that the videos came from a far-right, anti-Muslim group in Britain and remain unverified.

"Whether it is a real video, the threat is real," Sanders told reporters Wednesday morning. "That is what the President is talking about, that is what the President is focused on is dealing with those real threats, and those are real no matter how you look at it."

When pressed on the difference between the videos being real or fake, Sanders replied, "I'm not talking about the nature of the video. I think you're focusing on the wrong thing. The threat is real, and that's what the President is talking about."

So, y'know, the ends justify the means. And that's exactly what his supporters are saying on social media, too.

Whenever he's due to come, crowdfund a visit from Obama at the same time and make sure Obama gets a much bigger welcoming crowd and is treated like royalty. Not that I think Obama is particularly deserving person, but it's the only sure-fire way to boil Trump's piss.

Either that or just nothing him; he gets off on all the rage and to be greeted with utter indifference would probably wind him up no end. Some form of surrealist protest - making sure that there is a cauliflower or lettuce placed on every street his motorcade drives down for instance, or perhaps putting Trump wigs on every remaining phone-box - would also be acceptable.

Good god! He's just tweeted @theresamay.... a page that isn't even the prime minister's feed and just told her to focus on her own Islamic terrorism problems. He's just solidly endorsed Britain first by doing that.

Or just really specific about the number of people. So when he, inevitably, says 'more people came to see me in London. Millions, many millions, I would say.'
We can just say, 'Nah, mate, 48. And they thought you were a cunt.'

As an aside, of all the seven billion people on Earth, nothing would give more pleasure than calling Donald Trump a cunt to his face.
A futile, pointless exercise, but the idea and the mental image makes me feel all warm inside.

It's been an odd day today for me, topped off by the fact I'm about to go to sleep in the knowledge that on this one thing, I'm on Theresa May's side!!

Ah he deleted the wrong one previous. He previously sent that to a completely unrelated account. Luckily for them their account was private.
The deleted tweet:

Edit: Appears he then resent it to the right account.

Among the worst awfulness of this is that Trump probably thinks he's being awfully naughty and subversive and 'in your face PC Brigade!' without thinking that he is the President of the fucking US and this is actually real politics and genuinely dangerous

Er, surely a Hil and Bill double act is the most likely stroke causing invitees deserving of popular "People Visitors" - both should be invited to a 24 hour Peace Congress to be held at the Central Mosque , Regents Park
People in uity
That's his real Kryptonite

It was clear yesterday from the blandness of Downing Street's statement that May hadn't spoken to Trump: looks like she still hasn't. Which says a lot about the anglo-american relationship - there's clearly either no longer a direct line of communication between the British PM and USA President or May chickened out of using it when it could actually have been some use.
