What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Bannon is definitely out. Confirmed by the WH.

This story came out recently - interview with someone who moved into a house that Bannon rented directly before him. The one with the acid burnt bath. It all sounds very Alt-er White.
Steve Bannon’s porn and meth house: “You have no idea what kind of evil stuff went on”
Would be surprised if this is the last we hear of Bannon though.

Had a neighbour like that a few years ago. Found some weird shit after it was repossessed and someone new moved in. I don't think it was him though :)

It's a nod to Ivanka who brought the Murdochs to Trump. They are clearly trying to please the presumptive next president.
Can you expand? Who'se the presumptive next pres ?
Over on Breitbart comments at the mo they are going mental about trump being a traitor, going over to the Globalist Elite etc.

It's perfectly laid out in the article J Ed posted about in this post
That's an article article about why Clinton lost.
Can you help me out by just answering my question about your post- I think you said that firing Bannon was 'a nod to Ivanka' - to say thanks because she 'brought Murdoch'? Bollocks, I reckon.

Oh ok, so you think Ivanka is going to be the next president.
I seriously doubt that. Bet you £5 she's not.

The author of the article looks at how Trumps could stay at the top of the US government for 16 years. My post about the nod to Ivanka was in reference to the Murdoch junior's criticism of Trump's response to the Nazis in Virginia.

Yeah, I think there's much simpler ways to explain the ousting of Bannon than going for the Ivanka/ Jared -MSM connection, which is what Breitbart readers are doing.

Jesus, kremlinology is no use here. There is no enduring and ensured party domination. Looking at at this way is soap-opera-ing it and worse, maybe trying to map substantive political positions on these mannequins who then act as a cipher for real social forces.

(Total eclipse in the US on monday.) :)

The more time I've spent thinking about it, the less I want to see him impeached. He's so wounded now that there's little chance of getting some of his worst agenda through. We're stuck with these fuckers for the next 3 1/2 years. I'd rather it be a wounded Trump than a fully empowered Pence. When were done, I don't want there to be any doubt of how terrible these people were.
Been thinking about this a lot. There's time enough for the GOP to finally "turn" on Trump, swear blind they never backed him in the first place, start the impeachment process/force him to resign and blame him for everything bad that's happened. Then President Pence and his party will "recover" from the "unfortunate" Trump episode, carry on with their regressive policies, gerrymandering and voter suppression measures, and hold the White House and Congress in 2020. Lovely. :(

Is it time to revive a thread on predictions of how and when trump will stop being the president?
I still think he won't stay till 2020. I reckon now it's about 50/50 between him resigning and republicans finding a psychiatrist willing to help them invoke the 25th amendment which says you can remove a president who is medically unfit for office.
(I much prefer the first option)

You think it will just take one bent psychiatrist? If that's it they would have done that before - this is fantasy stuff.

I think resigning is in the same ballpark but with less support as it doesn't require fantasy stuff to take place.

You think he'll stay till the next election then? Do you think he might win it too?

Just putting my £5 on the table that I think resignation or 25th more likely than impeachment or lasting out his term.
But hopefully nobody here is under any illusion that I claim to know what I'm talking about, I don't.
